A specialist visit, an infusion, a scan or a round of physical therapy should not depend on whether a relative can take the morning off. StepRite provides scheduled rides to medical appointments of every kind, with a driver who helps the rider to the right door and back home again.
Some care is a single trip. Some is twenty sessions over six weeks. For a series, tell us the full schedule once and we will book the whole course.
Treatment Days
On treatment days
Cancer treatment can leave people exhausted or nauseated, and a radiation course can mean a ride every weekday. Our drivers expect that. They keep the van comfortable, do not rush the walk to the door, and give the rider time to settle.
Getting Home

How It Works
Booking a ride
Call or request online
Call (862) 297-3071 any time, day or night, or send a request online. Tell us who is riding, where from and to, the date and time, and how they get around.
We confirm the details
A StepRite coordinator calls back to confirm the pickup time and the vehicle.
We pick up
The driver arrives at the agreed time and helps the rider to the van.
We bring them home
Return trips are scheduled when you book or arranged when the appointment ends.
Please book at least 24 hours ahead. Need a ride today? Call (862) 297-3071 and we will see what we can do. Please do not send diagnoses, medical records or insurance ID numbers through the website; we only ask for what we need to plan the ride.
